The truth about the crisis

This is just a personal note. I don't know what all the banks are doing but I tried to get a commercial real estate loan today from Bank of America. It took the loan officer more than half an hour to find the right person on the phone to tell her that they no longer make commercial loans. Bank of America no longer makes commercial real estate loans. It was the most frightening thing that I've heard during all the crisis. Now it's hitting home what this could mean.

I guess I'm not going to buy that property until the banks want to loan money again. I'm sure I could get an exaggerated loan from some broker but I'm not really interested in that considering the current climate.
