Things to know about Hong Kong's financial market?

I've always been curious about this topic. I know Hong Kong, being a former British colony, has a well regulated financial market and is one of the major cities in the country for investment banking. But it is now once again part of China, but still has its own legal system and everything, and I know China itself does not have a well-regulated financial market (but it has been improving and investment opportunities are still rising).
