Mercury is in retrograde. I just recently began reading more about this as my wife is very big on astrology. Apparently three times a year, Mercury goes into retrograde and this is the worst time to start anything new as a lot of things are supposed to go wrong. Mercury will be in retrograde this year from June 7 - July 2.
How many people are starting Internships/FT while mercury is in retrograde? Not saying I agree/disagree with this or that it is by any means always right but I think it is something to be cognizant of. I do think there is some merit to astrology. Would be interested to hear people's thoughts.
I am actually starting my SA gig June 2nd, right before mercury goes into retrograde but I know of a couple other SA's that will be starting at the office while Mercury is indeed in retrograde. This is the first time I have ever actually followed the dates and paid attention to this.
I started reading about moon phases and how it has been proven over time that the market performs better while the moon is in certain phases. That got me more interested in reading more about the planets and their alignments. Just wanted to get people's input. I will definitely report back with results when the internships end to see how relevant Mercury being in retrograde is. My wife was really the main reason I started reading more about it.

Obviously would never mention this in a professional setting. I will take any competitive advantage I can get though over the other incoming SA's who will be starting something new when Mercury is in retrograde. Plan on beast moding it the whole summer anyways and earning a FT offer.
