Thoughts on my chances in banking?
Guys,
I've been studying pretty hard as a Senior in HS and have moved up to the top decile (that's top 10% for your poonanee's that don't know). I was recently accepted into UC Berk and have a few questions.
Is it ill informed to accept an offer as an incoming freshman for a FT position. I felt that I did well in recruiting as a HS Junior and am getting antsy that in 3-4 years there won't be any 'solid' banking positions. Although the place I interned (see prior posts) is by definition a boutique, I feel that it has the potential to eventually become a MM like Bear Stearns. I kinda feel that accepting this offer would let my current sophomore in hs girlfriend know that I was serious about us staying together? Thoughts? Lady bankers chime in? Don't be nervous.
What should I do? Do I accept the offer? They're offering around a 350$ signing bonus, paid in Chinese Yuan, or do I hold out for another offer.
Since we spoke last, I've done a number of interesting things that I'd like to explain to you guys. First, I've begun interning at a washateria, being the financial guru. I've been involved in a deal first hand, I organized a Pepsi machine to be moved into the facility. I even had a closing party where a few customers and I had a few pepsi's on me, no doubt it was worth it and I wanted to celebrate with the comman man if you feel me.
Toodles.
Why does this guy feel like Aleksey Vayner reincarnate?
Ok, this is a joke, right?
Funny joke...Pepsi...priceless
Use the offer as leverage to move up potential BB interviews by ~4 years.
Marry the chick and go live in the wilderness
yeah, are you kidding me?
Dont be stupid.. ofc its a joke.
