Thoughts on the new Office 365?
Early this year, firm upgraded to the fully "synced" Office 365 suite. The one where Teams, PPT, SharePoint, and all Office apps are now glamorously synching 24/7 via OneDrive.
Don't know the exact technical terms, but seriously I hate this so much. 99% of things I could do with MS 2019 or whatever outdated version they had (and I had on my personal computer) is now a different shortcut. Work doesn't save with "autosave" feature. Outlook notifications are tiny little pop ups from the native Windows notification action center. OneDrive is constantly trying to download different drives to keep up with 5000 gb of content available on the firm-wide network.
Call me stubborn or inadept to adaptation, but I 100% prefer the good old way of using SharePoint etc. in a local drive rather than constant OneDrive sync.
Anyone have workaround suggestions?
