Time between roles
Has anyone taken extended garden leave (>30 days) after analyst years?
Feels like a well deserved break and a good way to reset before starting a new role though I see most people only take ~2 weeks.

I normally take several months between countries/jobs/companies. Road trips, sight seeing, selling unused items on eBay, cleaning the house, getting rid of excess weight, etc
Normally not a problem.
Took 1.5 months between banking and PE role start (quit mid July) started post labor day
We need to normalize taking even 2-3 months off for those working more than 2 years in IB. It is a necessity in order to start strong in your next role.
I have not taken a vacation since college, and I am TIRED AF
