Timing of the follow up email?

What would be a good time to send an email after a phone chat/informational interview? The phone call took place on Saturday and I'm not sure if I should send the follow up on the same day (since it's weekend) or Monday? What I was thinking is that since he was willing to talk to me on a Saturday I might as well just send the follow up the same day, just a couple of hours later. What's your opinion?

I've noticed I get the best responses ( "let me know how things go for you..." ) by sending it ASAP. Also, you should be customizing thank-you emails ( "It was great to hear about how deal XYZ taught you about the __ sector" not just the same bland thank you copy and paste email ) and it's easiest to remember what you talked about if you send the email right after the call.
