Tips for (finance) students

Dear,

I am currently studying finance at a non target school in the Neterlands (university of amsterdam). Next year, it's my 3rd year, the last year of my bachelor fase.

Fields of interest: finance / investment banking / (financial) consultancy --- (project based jobs).

I am a very ambitious student (current GPA 8,1) and I really want to achieve some very nice career prospects.
Currently I am working as a calculator / assistent at a technical firm and at a supermarket (where I deserved the chance to follow a leadership program).

Where I am looking for are some general tips which will make me a better and more complete candidate for firms. What things should you advice me to undertake? Internships, student associations , etc. ? I am willing to give up my current jobs if necessary.

Really hope to receive some good tips. A lot of students I am talking to are in the same position and actually don't know what are good things to do while studying. Really hope you can help me, and a lot of other students reading this!
