At the analyst level i quickly identified 1-2 MDs that are good to work for and once I got my first staffing with them I went 110% so that they would ask for me moving forward.
Safe to say it paid off because I work with those 2 Partners/MDs 75% of the time and pretty much was paid top bucket (albeit at EB we don’t really bucket)
And since I built rapport when it was time for PE recruiting (i did off cycle) the partner sent in a good word and now (shortly) heading off to UMM.
