im already 2 years into this shithole of a job and realised i probably lost an inch of height due to sitting like an absolute knobhead while working.
looked at a side picture of me at a party and holy fuck im standing like the fucking hunchback of notre dame when im not actively trying to keep a good posture
anyone got tips on how to fix that/start keeping a straight posture while sitting?
Sit up straighter, standing desk, lift when you have time doing things like kettle bells, face pulls, seated rows, but honestly it’s just the cost of the job. Hope you aren’t 5’10.

Besides that, get a posture fixture that automatically aligns you to the chair to maximize comfort and correct posture.
Buy a foot pedal to do some light cardio whenever you sit down (may not seem like much but after 5 hours of light pedaling without even noticing you’d have burned at least 600 calories.)

Spend the money on a Herman Miller chair
I remember seeing a tiny device that you put on your back under your shirt that vibrates whenever you start slouching so it kind of subconsciously trains you to constantly sit up straight. Seems like a good option if you don’t want anyone else to see, assuming you’re in the office
