I can’t speak to that 100% since I was a lateral to the firm (was an a2a at a different firm). It seems that everyone who was above average would get the offer to stay, granted I think the rate is lower than at a BB. (Ive seen average analysts getting forced out, but def not an extremely high bar either)

Bump!
All similar to evercore levels of comp.
Any reason you said Evercore and not EB? I thought all had pretty similar comp except for CVP.
Is this true just at the analyst level or does it hold true for associates, VPs, etc?
Know Qatalyst pays way above street. Higher than other EBs. The rest are comparable to average EBs from what I know, although I'm unsure about Raine
Work at one of the 3 firms you mentioned, my 1st year associate total comp was $400k this year (150 base + 250 bonus). Was a good year for the firm
Thanks for sharing. Is there a clear path up the ladder at your firm or do people tend to get forced out?

Gotcha, thanks for sharing. As an associate do you see a clear path up/have other associates moved up at the firm?
