Incoming intern here trying to get an actual sense of what's going on after hearing so many people trying to jump ship...
What's the current sentiment on the floor? Are folks still doing meaningful work? And do you think interns will get to see any (past) deals or pitches during the summer? Would you recommend starting re-recruiting?
I completely understand that this is a particularly stressful time for everyone, it's just as an intern I do want to learn new stuff and do actual work.
UBS Q1 earnings report coming out April 24th—there will for sure be more clarity on strategy then. One more week to wait. Anything else said will be pure speculation since nothing official yet
