To recruit Full Time or not?

I recently accepted a position at a mid-tier BB for summer 2023. I decided to go ahead and accept the offer and finish recruiting early. I didn't even have the chance to interview at the top BBs because of the exploding offer. Still too early to decide, but I've been thinking about if I should shoot for a Top 3 BB for full-time.

If I can get my top choice for group placement and if I like working with the people there, I'm thinking I should just strive to get a FT offer there and not shop around. However, I want to hear everyone's thoughts, so that if needed, I can start building my network at other firms this school year.

I'm just wondering what the difference really is between a mid-tier BB and a top-tier BB, assuming that I land a very strong group (think Citi M&A/CS M&A/BofA LevFin).
