I recently received my end of year review and was told I’m top bucket and the best analyst in my class across all groups. Is there any way I can leverage this as I look to lateral to a top MM or BB/EB firm?

Honestly, it came down to having no life outside of work, staying glued to my laptop, and putting in more hours than others. I made a point to never vent or complain to anyone on my immediate team, only to people I trusted outside the group. Having someone you can talk to and release frustrations with, without it affecting your team dynamic helped me a lot
