  1. I believe DB separates its Technology from Media & Telecom, so they are two separate groups. I would imagine a substantial portion of Tech is out west.

From a strength standpoint, everyone always mentions LevFin, Sponsors, REGL(L), Industrials, and M&A as having the best dealflow at DB. From what I've heard, Sponsors is a great group to be in for both a great culture and lifestyle as well as dealflow/exit opps. Also, they are on the 46th floor, which is the office's executive floor, so you may have the good fortune of crossing paths with very senior North American DB execs should you go with Sponsors.

Based on DB's current state, i'd say the top group at DB is the legal department.

I'm pretty sure their in-house lawyers are getting paid some serious bonuses. Probably also working 90-100 hours across all levels.
