Transaction comp data needed
Dear Bankers,
Can someone give me transaction comp data of a recent software deal? It should ideally be in the $25MM - $50 MM bracket.
I want the acquirer name, target name, deal value and multiple (e.g. revenue).
One or two deals will be enough.
Do it yourself. Posting here would indicate you have the internet. SEC Edgar and news articles are free. Think of any recent public deal and the proxy statement will have comps for you.
Your lucky you caught me in a good and bored mood. I assume when you write $25-50MM you mean to give a transaction value range. Here is one from January:
