Hi, newbie question. I always hear people talking about transaction experience. In the job, what do you really do in the transaction? Can you list some of them and explain briefly? Thank you

possible things you might do as an analyst: Build the operating model, write (sections of) the internal committee memo (to get deals approved), write (sections of) the offering memorandum, update trading comps, spread transaction comps, make pitchbooks and PIBs, manage the "data room", format spreadsheets, etc etc
