Transfer GPA on Resume Question
I have transferred to a target school from a non-target as a rising junior and am wondering how I should state my GPA. Since I just transferred I would have no GPA and wouldn't be able to get and grades to my name before the end of this years summer analyst recruitment cycle.
It seems to me the best thing to do at this point would to put my previous school's GPA down on my resume but I'm wondering if that is frowned upon.
I just transferred after my freshman year, and a wondering the same. For right now I just am putting my GPA with "(Transferred from [1st school], will get [2nd school] GPA at end of semester)"
If there is a preferable way to do this please interject.
List both schools and list your GPA from your old school under your old school..put new target school on top of that and say something like August 2017 - Present and don't put GPA, just major/minor (if you've declared it).
