Transition from Buy side ER to IB
Hi guys, I'm a 3rd year analyst with a small MF ( about a billion AUM) , graduated from a non-target school and looking to transition to IB. Reasons for IB is the exit opportunities for me and also have a big BB or EB firm on my resume. Alumni base is pretty much non-existent in the field from my school. Tried applying online and cold emailing via linkedin but nothing is really promising. I currently have a CPA license and sitting for the CFA L3 IN 2020. Any advise you could provide on breaking in?
