Trend to Outsource Jobs Overseas?

Came across this article today in the WSJ covering the trend to move financial, software development jobs outside the US. Interested to hear the forums thoughts on whether you have seen this take place at your company/competitors or within the sector that you cover.

This quote caught my attention: “1980 to 2019 was the rise of manufacturing globalization, which eventually stalled out with the China-U.S. trade war,” Mr. Bloom said. “From 2020 onwards we will see the era of service sector globalization.”
