Tumi Continental Carry-On. Classy. Shit.

Bang.

"Just go to the prom and get your promotion. That's the way the business world works. Come on, Keith!" - The Boss

OK. Well, I have a Tumi Alpha duffel and love it. I'm sure I would not go with a Tumi roller because there are other companies out there with better warranties, notably Briggs and Riley. If you're traveling internationally, you'll want to get nothing larger than a 20". B&R makes a great 20" widebody that can work for a week of business travel if you know how to pack.

Tumi has great customer service if you actually take the time to call them up - I broke the handle on my roller and they sent me a new one that same week (the bag was over one year old).

TUMI covers for defects out to 5 years, but that's it. B&R has an unconditional lifetime warranty. For someone who travels a lot, this is an important distinction. For occasional travel, it doesn't matter as much.

I use a Royce Leather messenger bag for day to day work and a Royce Leather soft sided briefcase when I go to more formal client meetings. Have used both for about five years and love them - especially since I ordered them on Brookstone where I got my initials monogrammed into the leather that looks extremely polished and professional. Also has a lifetime warranty, unlike Tumi
