I received an offer at a top EB and am interested in asking for accelerated processes at GS/MS.

Consensus That Evercore Won On-Cycle? Fair enough to say Evercore has the top exits on the street?

What is Evercore's return offer rate looking like in NY and Menlo this year???

Sorry you didn't get GS/MS buddy, enjoy Evercore menlo

I previously worked within the group. Most individuals aren't targeting PE MF/UMM, a substantial number (the majority of my class) have opted not to participate in on cycle. The handful I was acquainted with, who wanted PE roles and did on cycle, mostly succeeded in their recruitment efforts. However, the majority of individuals are staying away from that demanding lifestyle and opting for options that offer a friendlier work-life balance.

I'm unsure about the exact reasons for this shift, but the prevailing mindset is no longer centered around the necessity of pursuing MF/UMM PE roles. Instead, the focus has shifted to waiting, recognizing the downsides of an imbalanced work-life, and selecting alternative options that prioritize work-life balance.

Regarding senior staff departures, the main reason for this is largely attributed to the changes implemented by Solomon. Partners at GS are no longer making as much as they did before.

lmao this kid thinks evr menlo is even comparable to GS TMT, MS Menlo, or Q... just fyi bro, EVR menlo is not EVR NYC and most certainly not GS TMT from any pov (+ you have to live in menlo park)

Lol congrats on getting cut from all the boutiques man and being able to only get thru GS’s easy ass interview
