Someone let Ralph Halmers know his public announcement that "hybrid work is here to stay" has been shut down as of today firm wide(official internal announcement went around).
Unspoken agreement is many juniors settled with UBS because we weren't like banks like GS who abuse their employees and crack the whip about being in office. Now, I'm not so sure what the value proposition is to stay here....

Eh it’s definitely possible during the run we had, people were trading up a very wide range. Kind of moot but this is believable to me. I was at a “lower tier BB” at the time and was not answering recruiters at any “top BBs” that didn’t have WFH option.
