UBS Feedback Report
hey legends,
just received my feedback report from my UBS application
Inductive Reasoning: (there was no total number questions) | got harder to handle compared with others
Number of completed questions (speed): 17
Number of questions correctly answered (accuracy): 16
-----
Numerical Reasoning: (out of 18 total questions) | got much easier compared with others
Number of completed questions (speed): 14
Number of questions correctly answered (accuracy): 14
Is this considered a good score? Am I good to go for the next round?
What's the scores you got guys? Are these tests important?
Inductive Reasoning: 30 answered, 29 correctly - extremely fast, extremely accurate, much easier.
Numerical Reasoning: 18 answered, 18 correctly - extremely fast, extremely accurate, much easier.
I don't think cognitive test performance matters as long as you come in above a certain unknown benchmark to pass.
awesome stats
I guess if someone is on much easier level should be fine.
It looks like I have to improve my inductive reasoning - thanks for letting me know
I wouldn't worry about it, their Inductive Reasoning is just an IQ test, it doesn't really correlate to IB success imo.
According to HR it does 😁🤦🏻♂️
As someone else said, I believe these tests are threshold based rather than "I'm the smartest" based. That said, enough people get very high scores that it's very possible the threshold is very high, but really no one knows.
Regardless, the test scoring does not completely inform whether or not you will get the next round (which I believe is a VI). I think up to the testing stage, they haven't even reviewed your full application properly (because why would they, it's more efficient to let people disqualify themselves using a test than for HR to read a billion CVs/cover letters).
So bottom line is: stop hyperanalysing and trying to front run an unknown process/outcome - just wait for the outcome and assess from there. Move on, and assume you've been rejected until proven otherwise.
Did your portal change? VIs out
are they not automatic for people who done it? I got one, just wondering if the VI is selective or not
I mean I didn't get one but I did well on numerical/inductive and did not get dinged. I either messed up the culture assessment or the HV is actually selective - Took the test yday.
Portal says "Reviewing", received VI invite this morning.
del - duplicate
People who got VIs what scores did you get? I'm still on reviewing
37/37, 18/18
30/29 14/14.
29/30, 18/18
16/18, 52/53
Anyone hear back after their VI yet?
How are so many people getting 18/18? I mean, I've done it before, but was luck—I only ever do 13-ish 100% right without guessing
I mean the info is all in there, you’re either running out of time or struggling to read.
Are you guys applying for the summer or the grad program ?
