Does anybody know if it is possible for a sophomore to land a summer internship at UBS just by applying through their website? For most of the available positions they list the basic qualifications as graduating by June '09.

Apparently they have a Soph rotational program... in Stamford.
They're pretty particular about taking only juniors, last time around the recruiter told me something along the lines that they need a large SA class so that they can fill their FT positions with SA who usually make the quick transition for obvious reasons.
nope. but other banks have some sophomore rotational programs.
I applied to both S&T and IBD via my career center, and I did not get an interview from either position as a sophomore.
