UBS to Merge M&A, Sponsor Advisory in Investment Banking Revamp

Bloomberg article is out. Given little to no deal flow at UBS they decided they don’t need a dedicated M&A group for execution given there is no execution.

Bloomberg has an article out today.

Sure they will blame their poor performance on not being structured properly

More power given to Barclays people, and more legacy folks leaving. Downward spiral continues

Time to rename to United Barclays Society and rename all the elevators Barclay-vators

I’m guessing he is a card carrying member of the United Barclays Society

Important note.

Sponsors PFG family office and M&A is now lead by the current m&a head who is a barclays lateral who came in with Marco.   So that's now 4 new groups controlled by a barclays lateral(in addition to the like 4 current groups controlled by one).

Oh wait but there's more!....Peter toal also being brought over from barclays to run lcm
