Yes, I've seen it. I think your school matters though. All the ones I've seen were HYP type schools.

 

m&a and lf/sponsors are easily the best 2 groups at the bank. gig and fig are sweatshops and are slightly above average. tmt isn't good anymore after svb took all senior bankers 

 

Are you an analyst there? Incoming for 2023 and have heard that lf/sponsors and FIG are strong but that m&a isn’t too good at ubs. Have also heard that while coverage groups are sweaty, they end up being better than the product teams cause ubs does in house. Curious to know this before going through placements next year. Also, would these product and the coverage groups you mentioned still get UMM or MF looks for recruiting or not really?
