Uhh... Is this cutting it too close?
I was offered first rounds for two separate divisions a BB for an on campus interview, except for one of them there I kinda waited to register. NOw there is only one spot left. That spot happens ot be right in front of the other interview. For example, my ibd interview was set at 9:30, but if I choose to take the s&t interview, it would be at 9:00. Granted the two are both on campus and are at the same exact place, should I just forgo the s&t interview if my first choice is IBD, or would I be able to have both at the risk of being late for IBD if I do not get out in time. I know there is someone registered for 9:30 and each interview is for 30 minutes... What should I do? Thanks
take the interview. do it. and just make sure you can get to the other interview on time!
interviews tend to run over a bit.
you can tell the first interview that you hvae back to back interviews and you want to be respectful of both firms.
you can tell the second interviewer that you just came from one and hope s/he appreciates the back-to-back nature of oncampus interviews.
dont stress. just let both parties know that there are interviews before and after. its no secret you are interviewing!
they are actually two divisons of the same firm... does that make a difference? thanks!
I agree with Eric, though if possible I wouldn't tell either party you are interviewing for a different position at the other firm. They like to know you are a sought after candidate but they also want to know you are only interested in the division they are interviewing you for. This is particularly pertinent to IBD and consulting.
last bump? so i should apply and pray that the first interview doesnt run over, the second doesn't start early, and the first two don't bump into each other *Gulp*
