UK recession impact on M&A deal flow

Question more to the UK people. Has anyone been seeing a slowdown on deal flow recently, and thoughts on the impact of recent news around GDP-USD and the Mini Budget?Should we be worried about things such as job security, busyness and other things?

There is currently no bank debt available. There is some (expensive) direct lender debt available for certain companies. The GBP has significantly weakened so non-hedged USD/EUR denominated funds have significant write downs on their UK assets vs. a few week ago. The only transactions I can see happening are USD denominated funds with P2P appetite for high quality assets. Some sponsors might take the time to prep exits (with uncertain launch dates). All-in-all deal flow will significantly slow down for the next quarters
