UK Risk Appetite
Spent most of my undergraduate breaking into IB, managed to do so but at a huge cost. Finally left it behind me, taking that risk and starting my own business. Seems everyone here is risk adverse.
Our country was built on risk, wake up. Working 80+ hour weeks to donate 40% of your salary to our inept government is no way to live. The US trumps us in all aspects when it comes to entrepreneurship.
For those still in university, my biggest advice is to take risk whilst you're young, when you can afford it both financially and physically.
no thanks I think I will stick to rent seeking and becoming a landlord

You’re not wrong about US risk appetite and entrepreneurial spirit. However, they have incredibly deep capital markets to back startups. The UK needs more VC money and less flowing towards boring money market funds.
