Just received an offer for a player in the UK TMT space, was curious to know the reputation/ exit opportunities for smaller names in the space like (GP Bullhound/ Torch Partners/ Stella EOC).
How easy would it be to move some of the bigger TMT boutiques like Arma/Qatalyst.

Qatalyst is tiny and doesn't hire much nor do they close a lot of deals. Arma was constantly hiring through their cut throat internship program when times were good but they fired a bunch of people recently. Guess you could move there after 2-3 years quite eaasily but not sure if it is a great career move - from torch/GP I have seen/know people who have moved to VC directly, so not sure why you'd to go to these shops (in which case you won't close deals or you'd run boring sell sides over and over again in a toxic environment)...
Cheers mate thanks for the message - really appreciate the advice. Yeah, I'm enjoying my time right now so I see your point about the environment. In your opinion, say I wanted to move to a bigger shop that saw more deal flow (Jefferies/Lazard), how well positioned would I be?
I don't see Laz much in tech, should be fine to move to jefferies they always need bodies given their culture :)

Stella EOC is part of GCA now. Arma Partners does some decent work out of London and so does Cameron Barney.
