UMich LSA vs UIUC LAS (transfer to Econ)

Hey guys,

I know there are some similar posts already, but my situation is different. I have to make my decision this week. I really need your help! Thanks a lot! I was admitted by UMich & UIUC (Economics major at the College of Arts & Sciences). Which one would be the best choice if I want to break into IB in US or HK? I'm a sophomore from China, and I know there is a significant difference between Chinese students and US students when applying for IBD. My father suggested me to double major in Computer Science and minor in Ross. Is it a good plan?

Thank you very much for your advice!
