Underage drinking citation affecting recruiting?
So I received an underage drinking citation at the end of the school year, and my court date will be moved to when I come back to school. I will be going through junior year recruiting then, and I was wondering if having a "2nd" underage drinking citation (1st was dismissed as not guilty and will be expunged soon) will affect my chances at recruiting?
It is under my impression that background checks are done last minute and last so things like drinking citations won't make me get my offer rescinded, but I just want to make sure.
Tough to say. I don't believe it will significantly affect your chances, but there's the off chance whoever reviews this is a stickler for this type of stuff. I wouldn't worry too much about it though.
