Underage for FT Training

Hi everyone. After an IBD SA stint in London last summer I was offered a FT role at a US BB. I have my training in NYC this summer but due to skipping a year of school I'm still only going to be 20 during the summer. Is this going to significantly impact my ability to socialise/network if I can't drink or enter clubs?

Having never visited the US before I'm not sure how the fake ID scene works, is it worth taking the risk with one?

I also had an interesting thought about the date format on my ID. With the European date format my October DOB is shown as 02/10/1996 (this is not my actual DOB), would the bouncers look at this and assume that my birthday is February 10th and therefore 21? Or would it be obvious to them that UK IDs have a different format? Whats the worst that could happen from trying this out?

Thanks for the help!
