University of Florida

Hey monkeys,

How does the University of Florida place in the major investment banks?

I’ve been accepted as an intl student and am considering it after visiting Florida I love the atmosphere and the weather haha

Also, does what I major in matter?? Or should I just pick what’s best for my GPA? Thanks everyone!!

You need to get into the combined degree Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program. MSF places nearly every student into strong IB programs every year.
need to be a finance major and in your first semester go and talk to Kelly Herring about how to join and she'll give you the roadmap.

You can get to IB from outside of MSF but if you get into it your a virtual lock to find a place.

Thanks for your response! How receptive/helpful are the alumni when it comes to recruiting?? Do they have a preference to take UF grads?? I was accepted to UF as an UG and my other options are lower ranked schools. Would going to UF be okay for recruiting in the NE? Thanks!
