Unresponsive HR

A little background...

I went to a shadow program at a large MM bank in December. At the end of the program HR said that they would let the participants know if they would be invited back for a summer position and that there was no need to apply on our schools' career sites.

They said that it would take a couple weeks to give offers, but it has been a month now and I haven't heard anything. I sent an email to two of the HR reps last week (on Thursday/Friday) and haven't gotten a response.

I have written it off as a ding and have moved onto other interviews, but I am still really curious about it. I liked the people and it would be great to have an offer in my back pocket heading into OCR.

What should I do? Should I email some of my contacts at the bank and ask them?

An Analyst/Associate was probably responsible for telling HR whom to invite back for summer positions. You would probably get a better from an Analyst/Associate than someone in HR.
