US banks hiring from Australian undergrad pools?

Hi all, I've looked around and have failed to find posts to anwer this question specifically.

Would it basically be a requirement to move to the US to study an undergrad at one of the target schools if one hopes to be hired as an analyst straight out of university at a bulge bracket bank? (This question is targeted for specifically Investment Banking in the US, not an Australia branch)

Cheers in advance!
