US to UK FT

Can anyone provide color on if this is possible? I saw that a few BB/EBs have openings in London/Greater London, but I'm unsure if firms are willing to sponsor Americans. I know recruiting overseas is mainly merit-based and less focused on networking, but I am highly interested in making the jump. Thanks!

Unless you go to a globally known school in the US, have some sort of DEI or have the right to work, it’s pretty hard.

If he wants to apply to london, he is more than likely not at a target university. I doubt someone from a not so well-known US school has a real chance.

It actually is more merit-based compared to the states lol. In london you can't really network just to get interviews like in the states and there are way more overqualified candidates in london compared to the states

That's an insane take
