Can anyone provide color on if this is possible? I saw that a few BB/EBs have openings in London/Greater London, but I'm unsure if firms are willing to sponsor Americans. I know recruiting overseas is mainly merit-based and less focused on networking, but I am highly interested in making the jump. Thanks!

My experience is domestic candidates are usually prioritised - it's still possible, sure, but more likely / easier route is to internally transfer or study an MA or MBA over here and recruit that way.

It actually is more merit-based compared to the states lol. In london you can't really network just to get interviews like in the states and there are way more overqualified candidates in london compared to the states
