US ———>UK IB
How doable would it be to land an IB internship in the UK as a US undergrad. Would appreciate some insight on this.

Why would you want to do that?
Have always thought of moving to London for a career, figured the best time would be early on rather than later.
You can do it for sure, but be aware that you’ll be at a serious disadvantage for buyside recruiting if you don’t speak another European language. For 80% of shops it’s a requirement. Also a lot of them don’t sponsor visas so unless you have that you’ll maybe find it difficult to exit the bank.
language wouldn’t be and issue, how would recruitment go about? Are the timelines any different?
Can’t offer any insight but in a similar position. How are things playing out?
Why would you want to do the same job for less than half the money while living in a cold and rainy city with terrible food and the ugliest chicks?
Not to mention that you will have to deal with unbearable Europeans every day.
