UVA vs. USC vs. Vanderbilt
Hi everyone,
I need your help making a decision. Goal: working in investment banking or PE Options: UVA ms commerce, Vanderbilt ms Finance, USC ms finance.
which do you think is the best choice?
Thank you!
ps. I ended up not attending grad school this year, and applied for the entry of 2016.
UVA. Look at the placement statistics.
Did you get into the schools you listed? If you didn't the obvious one is go whichever one you got into. If you have multiple offers I would pick either UVA or Vanderbilt depending on which campus you liked better.
UVA no doubt. They are one best placing schools in FO finance in the country.
Can still get there from Vanderbilt but a little tougher.
IMO, it's a toss up. UVA is amazing and the two tracks allow a wide type of top placements. Vandy will get you there as well. Check out both and see which one you like the best. You're not going to go wrong with either choice.
