How would I go about a valuation of an optometry practice. Cashflows? Seems it would be difficult to predict fcf moving forward with so many people entering the market, and an insistence on many people to only align with dr.s of their own culture... Trying to help a family friend. Net income is around 145k a year for the business.

For small medical practices half of yearly gross, unless they have a lot of toys (Slit lamps are worth 5K for example). These practices aren't worth much as people come to see Dr. so and so, not the firm.
Hmm just interested in learning more about valuating private companies/practices.... Something this small is interesting since there's obviously no public counterparts to do comp tables or something...
