Valuation_help
I got interested in Valuation . Would any suggest me with some books or softwareI can use? Both for assets or business entity will be really helpful.
I know substaintial about accounting both management and financial accounting, done a couple of securities valuation researches, but don't have rudimentary knowledge about valuation.
Books? Investment Banking by Joshua Rosenbaum is probably one of the best and easiest to understand. This coming from a sophomore in college. Just started an IB internship and this book provided a very concrete understanding of the 3 main valuation techniques (DCF, Comps, Precedent Transactions and more) and put me ahead of many of my peers. Highly recommend it.
The Bible:
Investment Valuation by Aswath Damodaran

If you're referring to actually working in the valuation services industry then I would recommend the Financial Valuation book by Jim Hitchner.
