Valuing what we have

Not a tipical IB monkey thread but think it is appropiate for a site such as WSO. You know, last week my boss was really depressed due to loosing his sister from a cancer and just a few hours ago a really close friend called me to let me know how his father would probably die tonight due to a car accident. These two events made me really step back from my day to day “problems”(achieving promotions, exit opps, finding next date... n other bullshit) and honestly be thankful or what I have. You think all the grind is worth it if you don’t get the time for people important to you??
