Vanderbilt Vs Carnegie Mellon for IB/Consulting

Hey guys, decision date is in 3 days and I really need help deciding between the two. Which places better? Which has better recruitment? Better opportunities? What about international recruitment? Thank you so much!

For more context I will be studying engineering at both schools, and if I decide to go with Vanderbilt I will be double majoring in the HOD program or minoring in business. If I go to Carnegie I will double major in Tepper or minor in Tepper.

I can’t think of a larger difference in student body between Carnegie Mellon and Vanderbilt at the undergrad level for highly regarded schools.

Vanderbilt probably places better, across multiple regions, but doesn’t have a finance undergrad.

Most Carnegie people lack the social skills to effectively get into IB.

Limited knowledge of Carnegie, but go where you feel more comfortable.

Thanks for the response! If I’m going to go get an MBA anyways would I just go for Vanderbilt then? Also I want to point out that I’m an international student, so I was thinking due to Carnegie’s high international population I would get more opportunities there. Also if it adds anything I’ll be majoring in MechE at both schools, or some sort of engineering.
