Are any of the financial models used in M&A able to be automated via VBA/Python? Any parts of IB role that can be easily automated?

You could probably automate a cookie cutter LBO template but this is basically already automated in excel. Alternatively, you could build the model python but this seems more difficult to audit so I’m not sure there’s any benefit.
