Yeah me and a few friends in PE actually talked to them. The guy that started it was a VP in private equity and left to start it. Sounds like they just started earlier this year, but they have some legit PE firms in NY and LA as clients. I interviewed in one PE process with them, and they actually did the 1st round interview. The interview had a little model test and some technicals with the typical behavioral and resume stuff. At the end, they spent 5 minutes giving me some feedback on what I did well and where I need to work adjust my story. I hadn't been in any other processes like that but it was honestly pretty helpful.
I was just in a VSP process for a lateral associate / Sr. associate position with a $4B PE firm in NYC. For context, I got to the final round and ultimately didn't get the offer. Despite not getting the offer, this was one of the better processes I've been in. They were responsive throughout the 8-week process and they actually gave me some helpful feedback throughout the process. When they broke the news that I didn't get it, one of the founders hopped on the phone with me for 20ish minutes to walk me through the client's feedback while also putting me in touch with a couple other firms in their network that were either in live interview processes or thinking about hiring shortly.
I hate to tip my cap to a HH given I hate 95+% of them, but this process was a breath of fresh air after getting ghosted by CPI, Ratio, Henkel and Carter Pierce countless times. Every interview process sucks but def prefer working with them / GC over the others.
