Verbal Case Study & Modeling Test - Lateral Associate IB Boutique
All -- anyone have case studies / modeling tests they can share? I have an interview next week for a lateral associate role at an M&A-focused boutique. (For context, I am a post-MBA associate currently working at a BB)
Expecting a three-statement model template that I'll have to complete so just looking for templates to practice on for speed / accuracy, etc. Anyone ever been asked to do one of these from scratch? I imagine LBO is more for PE so I'm not as focused on that but let me know if you think that's worth practicing as well. I'm very comfortable doing a standard paper lbo, just never had to build a complex LBO from scratch for my job.
Secondly, appreciate any tips / resources on what the verbal case study aspect will be like. Anyone have a sense what this will be like exactly?
