Does anyone think that people applying to FT 2021 would have an advantage if they had a full summer of in person internship experience? I feel that it would be more valuable, but if the standard is that internships are virtual then maybe employers won't care.

If your internship was last summer, yes it'll definitely help. You'll have something substantial to talk about in interviews
With that said, no one is dinging interns for the virtual situation right now, and I'd worry more about the standard currently being set of automatic FT offers
