Visa Sponsorship for incoming international IB analyst/associate at a boutique/MM post MBA

I am curious to know whether small boutiques/middle market banks would be willing to sponsor work visas for internationals coming out of a non-target business programs given that target school students get recruited into BB/Elite boutiques. Are smaller banks even looking for business grads? I have checked out some banks online that have sponsored visas in the past but can this even be a thing if an international student networks in the right way?

If not, then could you suggest some of the ways in which an international business student can break into such small banks to start with since the competition to break into BBs is fierce and not everyone's cup of tea?
