VRX/Ackman Takeover
So Ackman amasses a position in a company knowing that they will be acquired for a premium thus increasing the value of his initital investment. Any thoughts on how this will play out and if deals like this will become more commonplace?
I agree he essentially doubled down on is investment right before a deal was announced. It may be fishy not sure if it is illegal however.
Even though it sounds like textbook insider trading, it's such a grey area and its so hard to prove that nothing will come of it.
